On behalf of the Board of Trustees and as Chairman of the Southern University Bangladesh Trustee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Southern University Bangladesh. Indeed – it is a tremendous privilege and I am honored to lead Southern’s Board of Trustees and excited to see where we go next. With the support of all members, there is nothing we can’t achieve as we strive to serve our students, our global community and the soil we are living. It has been a special part of my life. It is so enjoyable now to be working with the Southern family to help ensure all our tomorrows are as successful as our yesterdays.

The Board’s role is to govern through establishment of policies that ensure academic quality and freedom, protect the university’s financial security and ensure efficient and effective administration through the Board’s selected executives.
